Our Eggs

We offer fresh free-range eggs laid by our happy backyard flock. Our hens are fed healthy scraps from our kitchen and wholesome non-GMO organic feed from New Country Organics. The chickens are allowed to free-range daily in a pesticide and herbicide free backyard where they eat bugs, grass, and other nutrient dense chicken delicacies. Our loving Golden Doodle named Remington keeps a close eye on them all day keeping everyone safe from predators.

About Our Eggs

Nutrition - Freshness - Flavor

01

Nature's Protective Bloom

Our family only wants to eat the most natural and nutritious eggs possible, so that is what we sell! That's why we offer unwashed eggs with the bloom intact, a practice that may differ from what you typically find at the grocery store.

03

Enhanced Flavor

Many aficionados of farm fresh eggs appreciate the depth of flavor and richness that unwashed eggs offer. The bloom's presence can help lock in the egg's unique taste, making your dishes even more delightful.

02

Retaining Freshness

When a chicken lays an egg, it is coated with a thin, protective layer known as the "bloom". This natural shield preserves the freshness of the egg. By leaving this protective layer untouched, our eggs maintain their natural defense against bacteria, moisture loss, and contaminants. As a result, our unwashed eggs have a longer shelf life than their washed counterparts.

04

Super Nutritious

An egg from our backyard flock offers superior nutrition compared to store-bought eggs. Packed with higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, and boasting increased calcium, protein, and vitamins due to our chickens' natural diet, our eggs are a wholesome choice for a healthier you.

What Our Customers Say

"Oy vey, these eggs! They're like a bubbie's hug. They taste divine, and those happy, free-range chickens are the cutest. They come au naturel with their own bloom. No fridge rush, and more time for you to kvell over breakfast. Our son-in-law sure knows his eggs!
